Trust should come before advice
For me, astrology begins with accuracy. Before asking someone to trust my guidance about their future, I want them to feel that I have understood their chart and their life correctly.
That is why a large part of my approach is predictive. I often begin by looking at significant patterns and events from the past — career changes, relationships, periods of difficulty, major transitions, or other turning points.
When those observations resonate with a person’s lived experience, the conversation changes. There is already a foundation of trust, and that makes the guidance that follows more meaningful.
Astrology for real lives
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to study charts belonging to people from very different walks of life — government officials, lawyers and advocates, doctors, software engineers, people working in sales and marketing, and students preparing for competitive examinations such as UPSC, medical and engineering entrances.
Their lives may look very different on the surface, but the questions are often deeply human.
- Will this career direction work for me?
- Why does the same relationship pattern keep repeating?
- Is this marriage likely to be supportive?
- When does this difficult phase begin to change?
- Am I making the right decision at the right time?
From software engineering to astrology
My professional background is in software engineering.
Astrology began as a deep personal interest, but over time that interest became increasingly serious. The more charts I studied, the more I wanted to understand the logic behind patterns, timing and events rather than treating astrology as a collection of fixed statements.
That curiosity eventually became a practice.
In some ways, my engineering background has influenced how I approach astrology as well. I naturally look for patterns, consistency, cause and effect, and whether an interpretation actually holds up against a person’s life.
Traditional foundations, practical application
I have great respect for the traditional foundations of Vedic astrology.
At the same time, people today live very different lives from those for whom many traditional practices were originally described.
Many people live in apartments, move away from their hometowns, work long corporate hours, live in different cities or countries from their families, or simply do not have access to certain traditional arrangements and rituals.
I do not think useful astrological guidance should ignore that reality.
Where remedies or corrective practices are discussed, my approach is to preserve the underlying astrological reasoning while also considering what is realistically possible in a person’s life today.
Tradition should provide the foundation. Practicality should help us apply it.
What I want a consultation to feel like
I do not want someone to leave a consultation with a collection of impressive-sounding statements.
I would rather they leave with a clearer understanding of what they are going through, what the chart suggests about the period ahead, where caution may be needed, and where opportunity may exist.
There may be difficult things to discuss. There may also be reassuring ones. Either way, I believe the role of an astrologer is not to create fear or false certainty.
It is to interpret the chart carefully, speak clearly, and help the person see their situation with greater perspective.
If you’re looking for clarity, start with the question that matters most
